The Grand Canyon Subdivisions consistes of 19 units (Grand Canyon Subdivision Units 1 - 12 & 14 - 19 and Grand Canyon Estates Unit 1) created from land owned by the Wingfield Ranch in 1960's which contains approximately 7800 lots. Most are approximately 1 acre, a few are 2.5 and 5 acres. These subdivisions are zoned AR-1, AR-2.5 and AR-5 (Agricultural Residential). Less then 5% of all the lots have been developed.
Like most lots in Valle, AZ there is NO water company. Water is via Water Haul (Visit our How Does a Cistern/Water Tank Work page). Power and phone has been extended to Grand Canyon Subdivisions Unit 1 and 10. Parts of Grand Canyon Subdivision Unit 12 should also have power.. There is no home owners association for this subdivision so the roads are maintained by the property owners. All lots are subject to Open Range rules and restrictions.
